I've been struggling with being sick and still having to do everything in my power (and then some...) to keep the home running, the kids safe and fed, the bills paid, etc, etc...
Add to that two van breakdowns a week apart from eachother that had me stranded in a neighboring town and the added stress of David being Crafter Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03964031566359815359noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547405071356476236.post-83287894157085292682012-02-20T22:15:00.000-06:002012-02-20T22:15:05.258-06:00Green grass? Sure. We've got at least some. :)I just read a recent blog post by Autsim Daddy (one of my favorite bloggers) and wanted to share his blog and my response on here for you guys too. His blog is a good reminder to count our blessings. :) We all need that reminder from time to time. :)

He gathered links and info from several great articles and picked out his favorite to highlight in his blog (he also included the links to the articles so we all can check out the rest of the advice and tips).

Yeah there are a lot of great lists out there and a lot of symptoms I could share about and even incidents/stories I could tell, but I've noticed these are never able to truly give a clear picture. However... the easier it gets to understand what he's saying when he finally says something on his own, the more I find myself in
embarrasing situations. lol

Later in the day though, closer to evening, I got hit hard in an area I wasn't even expecting to have to deal with today let alone face more pain from it... and as if that wasn't enough... more reality quickly slapped me in the face just a couple of hours later from another source.

(for those who were wondering)Some one had the gall to corner my son and pick on him and verbally attack him and make a scene of him when he hadn't even done anything wrong. All he did was simply turn around (we were on our way out the door) and when he saw I had stopped, he calmly said "come on". Something I had been saying for almost the entire last 3 to 5 minutes so he was more than likely just repeating as he tends Crafter Dreamhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03964031566359815359noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3547405071356476236.post-5969921594437092252012-01-23T02:49:00.001-06:002012-01-23T03:02:18.346-06:00Progress! this time though it was Mommy's :)This "momma rottweiler" is slowly but surely learning the art of calming down enough to be a more effective "momma bear".

When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
